What 1X currently lists

1X’s order page currently shows two NEO options: a Standard subscription at $499 per month and Early Access ownership at $20,000. For the ownership option, the page lists a three-year warranty, premium support and priority delivery. It also says a $200 deposit is due when ordering and labels that deposit fully refundable.

Those figures are current listings, not guaranteed final contract terms. 1X’s legal terms say prices and descriptions may change before order acceptance and do not constitute an offer to sell. The same terms say final pricing and subscription details will be provided at the point of purchase.

Deposit, waitlist and refund window

To complete a pre-order, the terms require the deposit shown on the site and the information requested on the form. A pre-order places the customer on a waitlist rather than completing a purchase. 1X says it will email an Order Invitation if NEO becomes available for that customer, while making no promise about when an invitation will arrive.

The cancellation clock is tied to that invitation. The terms allow cancellation for a full deposit refund until 14 days after 1X sends it. After that window, the deposit becomes non-refundable even if the customer does not complete the order. If 1X cancels the pre-order, the terms say the deposit will be refunded in full.

Autonomy and scheduled Expert Mode

1X markets NEO as built for full autonomy, but its product page qualifies what Early Access buyers receive: foundational or basic autonomy that is expected to expand with use. That makes “full autonomy” a stated product direction, not evidence that every household task will run independently at delivery.

For chores outside NEO’s current abilities, 1X says a customer can schedule an Expert. Its product page describes that person remotely supervising the robot at arranged times to help complete the task and teach new abilities. Expert Mode is therefore a human-assistance path for capability gaps, not a claim that NEO already performs those tasks autonomously.
